Last week, Conservation X Labs was awarded $75,000 in the 10th Annual Goldman Sachs Analyst Impact Fund, a global philanthropic initiative where the firm’s analysts pitch nonprofits they believe in to win grants of up to $250,000.
Each year, analysts from offices around the world collaborate to pitch nonprofits of their choice for the opportunity to earn grants from Goldman Sachs Gives, enabling them to make a tangible impact in the communities where the company operates.
This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Analyst Impact Fund, with more than 1,000 analysts participating in the competition. Since the first event, over 6,800 analysts have taken part, earning more than $5.5 million in grants for 168 nonprofit organizations across the globe.
A team comprised of Alessandra Dimech, Charlie Hao, Elle Sun, Angel Wong, and Kai Ting Yeo chose Conservation X Labs and our Sentinel to represent their proposal and won third place, securing a $75,000 grant to support our mission to use technology, innovation, and collaboration to end the extinction crisis.
The team spent weeks understanding not just what Sentinel does but why it matters, standing before senior leadership to advocate for conservation technology. This kind of collaboration is exactly what conservation needs: when financial expertise meets environmental innovation, we move closer to a future where both people and nature can thrive.
We’re deeply thankful to Goldman Sachs, Asahi Pompey, Brad Weinstein, and Richard Shen for leading this inspiring program, and to all the teams driving forward creative solutions for people and the planet. We’re excited to continue this partnership and turn innovation into impact.
